NOTE: BASE CHARCOAL BLANKS WILL SOON BE LISTED ONLY UNDER BASE PIGMENT DYED BLANKS. IF YOU DON’T SEE THEM UNDER BASE BLANKS, CHECK THERE. THEY RUN LARGER THAN THE REGULAR BASE BLANKS, HAVE EXTRA REINFORCEMENT, A SOFTER FEEL FROM THE ABRASIVE WASH, AND A HIGHER PRICE BECAUSE OF THESE DETAILS.

BASE is our most affordable blank. weighing in at 6.2 oz (206 gsm).
If you order small quantities, (3+ mix and mactch) colors might vary between lots. For consistency, order by the box — 72 units per size and color, (same lot). (With 55% to 60% OFF depending on your account).

BASE fits the budget, but still hits different. Washed at high heat to shrink, rough up the texture, and give it that worn look— won’t shrink.

PRODUCT DETAILS

BASE budget conscious blanks.

This is a more economical option compared with our other short-sleeved styles.

Size up 1 - 2 sizes for an oversized fit. 

BASE CHARCOAL Pigment-dyed blanks run a bit larger than the BASE White and Black. We account for shrinkage in the process, so even after washing and drying, they won’t shrink smaller than the BASE—just not always down to the exact same size.

Classic 80s vibe—washed hard, aged, Sixelar Standard. These are the affordable ones, but we’ve got more elevated and more expensive tees.

Model slim and tall 6’2”, wearing size Large. 

Note: Base Pigment Dyed blanks may or may not have a top-stitch around the neck, depending on the batch. This is not a defect.

CONTENT

100% Open Ended Cotton. 18 Singles. 6.2 Oz. 206 Gsm.

Except Heathers, which are 80% Cotton, 20% Dacron.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Our VINTAGE CHARCOAL and RETRO SILVER blanks are pigment-dyed and will shed color onto skin or other items until the excess dye is washed out. For more info please see "IMPORTANT NOTES" below.
  • Due to the garment dye process, slight color variations may occur between batches. Each production lot absorbs dye differently depending on fabric composition and environmental factors. These tonal shifts are normal and expected with garment-dyed pieces.

ABOUT THE CHARCOAL PIGMENT DYED BLANKS

IMPORTANT: DO NOT PRINT WITH WATER-BASED INKS ON CHARCOAL PIGMENT DYED SHIRTS AND HOODIES. USE PLASTISOL INKS WITH A WHITE BASE. (Printshops should be aware of non-reactive dyes. If they aren't, you are highly advised to work with a more experienced shop.) This doesn’t apply to the vintage black, heather grey, and white cordless hoodies.

Our vintage charcoal blanks are pigment-dyed and will shed color onto skin or other items until the excess dye is washed out. To care for your garment & minimize color transfer:

  1. Wash thoroughly before the first use. 
  2. Wash separately for the first few washes.
  3. Avoid contact with light fabrics/ upholstery/ leather etc.
  4. Do not spot-clean the garment.
  5. Avoid harsh detergents.

We aren't liable for damage from color transfer. Use signifies understanding of this risk. Contact customer service for more information.

Due to the dying process, there may be variations in texture and tones in blanks of the same color, especially with different batches.

LEAD TIME

  • BASE blanks are shipped immediately because we always carry a large stock. If ordering Raw edge or distressed blanks processing times will be extended 24 more hours since we meticulously distress each blank by hand to order.
  • BASE Vintage charcoal styles (Pigment dyed) may require more processing time as may larger orders.
  • BASE Pigment dyed come straight from the dyehouse and restock every 2 days. If your order includes them, allow 2–3 extra days for shipping.
  • We do not give any guarantees as to fulfillment time for our Sixelar® Blanks so please contact us before placing your order if it is an urgent order.
  • Make sure your order confirmation doesn't end up in your spam folder.
